About Gergely

Gergely is responsible for the Look&Feel and UX of all ApPello products, furthermore he leads the marketing and communication team of the company.

Gergely started his UX/UI design career nearly 10 years ago, while at the MOME University (he originally studied industrial design). He has been focusing on finance and digital transformation for approximately 5 years: his last two employers were one of the Tier 1 banks in Hungary and ApPello, a leading providers of digital lending software solutions in CEE. In the past few years he was involved in some of the most emphasized IT transformation projects in banking: He has worked on video account opening for retail segment, end-to-end digital mortgage, mobile bank UI update, digital lending platform front- and back-office interfaces, on a decision engine project from scratch as well as websites/ mobile and offline branding projects.

Gergely holds a mechanical engineering MSc degree from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and as well as an industrial designer MA degree from Moholy-Nagy University of Art & Design.

Gergely has presented in several conferences and universities in Hungary about UX / Digital Banking and was an external lecturer at Moholy-Nagy University of Art & Design for almost 4 four years.
